Control the Ship? Why Would We Want to Control the Ship? (14 January 2026 Session Report)

Last time, the adventurers travelled to the planet's Inner Ocean, boarded a snakeman military catamaran, and killed its captain.

The party descends to the moon pool in the catamaran's eastern hull and determines that the ship is underway, moving at speed.

They charge onto the ship's deck and fight First Mate Ssally Ssmall and six of the snake soldiers. The party takes a few minor wounds, but eventually put down all resistance.

After forcing open the door of the ships control room, they find the one remaining tiny snake on the ship (the one remaining thing that knows how to control the ship) and kill it.

But at least the out-of-control ship is heading north, where the party hopes to discover what's sucking all the energy out of the world and turning the Inner Ocean to ice.
