Zoozeki casts _invisibility_ on his familiar ice stoat, and sends it into 10, 11… to scout: 10. Hobbit chained to an ornate, antique desk. Room illuminated by caged fire beetles. 11. Tables and benches. Music. Eight giants dancing. Band on west side of room (A) — a band of at least two frost giant musicians and a human-size singer. (B) is some kind of lookout post. Human in kimono. 12. Dias, ivory and bone throne decorated with jewels. Jarl sits with three underling chiefs, eating. Dragon hide hangs on wall, and old or ancient white dragon. 14. Kitchen. Servants (small fire giants, four ogres) laboring, horse meat cooking. Four captive humanoids in a wooden cage in the north end of the room. 15. Weapons cave. Throwing rocks, eight shields, spears, clubs, helmets, battle axes, and a giant chainmail shirt. 16. Lit by fire beetles. One frost giant, two small frost giants, three young frost giants. Sleeping areas. Eleven large boxes, five chests, pegs with capes and bags. 17. Four huge polar bears. Mayan glyphs on north wall. Zoozeki makes a history check to decide if frost giants care for their children. Yes, they care very much, and tend to only have one child. A bear from 17 wakes up and eats my stoat familiar, which poofs into nothingness. We _sleep_ the hobbit accountant, _reduce_ him (to free him from his shackle) and spirit him away. Smudge grabs all the papers from the desk. Desk had "Ramplemoose" maker's mark. Papers from desk indicate financial dealings of Jarl, like protection racket, tributes, etc. We go back to and out of the way ledge outside level one to interrogate the hobbit and rest. Zoozeki casts _tiny hut_ to blend in with the snow. Zoozeki casts _alarm_ on the approach. Zoozeki re-summons his familiar. Long rest. We assume that Zoozeki and Xenon have traded spells at some point in the past. 1: _Unseen Servant_ for _Absorb Element_. 2: _Invisibility_ for _Melf's Acid Arrow_. 3: _Fly_ for _Animate Dead_. We interrogate the hobbit, Noris Needlenook, accountant. He refuses to give any more info than his name and position. Zoozeki casts _charm person_ on him. He was a accountant for a wizard. He embezzled from the wizard, so the wizard sold him to the giants. He says we should go south, and rob the wizard. He recognized the scabbard/broach description; the Jarl wears it on his hat. The Jarl hangs his hat in room 20, the Jarl's antechamber and trophy hall. He tells us who the giant child parents are, and the Jarl has a child. **Zoozeki gets detailed information about the wizard, his tower, and its traps and pitfalls.** Plan: We cast _invisibility_ and _gaseous form_ on Xenon, who grab's the giant's hat, then _dimension doors_ out. Zoozeki scopes out the Jarl's chamber with _clairvoyance_. Cave bear pelt, wyvern skin, claws of umber hulk, skull of a dragon, dwarf skill wearing a crown, other trophies. The Jarl's personal (giant size) weapons. Zoozeki sees the hat with broach on a hat stand. Switch to audio; hear snoring from east (21) and north (18). We pull it off! Kristabell has the sheath. The sword likes it. Zoozeki _detects magic_ on the two suits of armor. The elven armor radiates magic. Human armor is not magic. We leave, down the mountain, back to town. Zoozeki asks Ganga Sherpa about the rhyming wizard. We leveled up. Zoozeki learns _Leomund's Secret Chest_ and _Polymorph_.
