These are magic items unique to our D&D campaign.

Bronze Eagle

The party found this mechanical/robot eagle on a WWII submarine. It follows commands in German, which (fortuitously) Zoozeki speaks. The eagle may have problematic political ideas.

Pret Ucieczki (a.k.a., Escape Rod, a.k.a. Churro Rod)

This device was part of the planet’s long-forgotten space program. It has the following known powers, according to Roscoe’s Legend Lore spell:

  1. Reverse Gravity (party knows how to trigger this)
  2. Darkness 10′ radius until turned off (party knows how to trigger and turn off)
  3. Adjustable Beam of Light. Can be turned on and off according to legend. Should adjust from dim enough to read a map under a poncho to bright enough to be blinding (“a real face-melter”). Unclear whether it affects undead in the same way as sunlight. Party does not know how to trigger or turn off.
  4. Teleport to Landing Pad. In the space program days, there were certain launch and landing pad locations on the planet. In an emergency, this rod can be used to teleport a person or group to a landing pad. Adjusting the rod should allow the user to select the landing pad where the person or group arrives. It is unclear whether the teleportation is an area effect or requires all passengers to touch the rod.
  5. Nuclear self-destruct.
  6. Create gravity in a zero-G environment, in a certain radius from the rod, which is unknown. Legend does not say whether anyone tested this ability in an environment that is ordinarily greater than zero-G.

Rahalt the Combustor

Attack Type: Melee; Reach: 5′; Damage: 2d6+8 slashing & 1d6 fire

To the ice elves of the far north, who hunt men and use every part of their prey, wasting nothing, it is known as the Sun Before the Avalanche and the Melter of Glaciers. It is a sentient adjustable sword +3, emanates flickering flames 8-12″ high, and radiates great heat. Does additional 1d6 flame damage upon successful attack.

Abilities: (1) detect elevator/shifting rooms/walls 10′ radius; (2) detect good/evil 10′ radius.
